Watashi wa bujong desu. Class today was fun. We were taught how to create simple sentences. Affirmative and negative, questioning and answering. A few ethics on conversing.
The hiragana and katakana is now making sense. It's like I'm reading as if I'm a 5 year old.

Still have to practice the strokes. I bought a notebook with boxes for the characters.

Will make use of dictionaries and books I bought over the weekend.
